The 2014 Community Day of Service

The 2014 San Diego Community Helping Hands was attended by over 650 volunteers. We had four projects in four different cities with participants from area churches, the Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, Poway High School, Rancho Bernardo High, I Love A Clean San Diego and other volunteers who just showed up because of hearing about the project.

We weeded, cleaned, and painted throughout Lake Poway and the parks and Blue Sky; we made meals and provided comfort items to homeless neighbors through North County Interfaith Community Services. Together we provided over 2000 hours of community service!

Thanks to all who participated! We hope to see you back again next year at San Diego Community Helping Hands 2015.
